Identification of Treponema pallidum antibodies may aid in the diagnosis of syphilis.
This test includes the following:
If T. pallidum Antibody is equivocal or positive, then RPR Screen with Reflex to Titer will be performed at an additional charge (CPT code(s): 86592).
If RPR Screen is reactive, then RPR titer will be performed at an additional charge (CPT code(s): 86593).
If RPR screen is non-reactive, then T. pallidum Antibody, Particle Agglutination will be performed at an additional charge (CPT code(s): 86780).
