This in vitro allergen - specific IgE panel is used to quantitatively measure a child's IgE response to 16 different food and environmental allergens that are commonly associated with allergies. These allergens include Alternaria alternata, cat dander, Cladosporium herbarum, cockroach, codfish, cow's milk, Dermatophagoides farina, Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, dog dander, egg white, mouse urine proteins, peanut, shrimp, soybean, walnut, and wheat. This IgE panel is intended to be used in conjunction with other clinical information to aid in the diagnosis of allergic diseases.
